Robotic surgery carries the same general risks as any laparoscopic procedure — bleeding, infection, and anaesthetic risks. Prof. Mittal will discuss risks specific to your procedure at your consultation.

Most patients go home the same day or next morning. Light activities resume within 3–5 days, driving after 1 week, and return to work in 1–2 weeks depending on your job. Heavy lifting is restricted for 4–6 weeks. Robotic surgery patients often report less post-operative pain and faster return to normal activities.
